"CURINA is a pattern of hand-woven raffia inserts with embroidered finishes, assembled into a design. It embodies the delicate transformation of the material by the craftsman's hand. Its name, derived from the Latin "curare" meaning to heal, evokes the delicacy of the gesture in working with natural fibre. Extracted from palm leaves, the plant fibres are harvested by hand in the , cut into thin strands and then dried in the sun before being woven and dyed. CURINA is available in five colours and coordinates with the plain PALAWAN."
