On the occasion of Paris Design Week and the Women’s Perspectives event, MISIA joins forces with Maison Philippe Hurel for a singular collaboration celebrating feminine creativity and the dialogue between design, materiality, and craftsmanship.
Presented at the Philippe Hurel showroom, this immersive exhibition invites visitors to walk through a long, sombre and mysterious corridor punctuated by colorful capsules, where four iconic pieces from Philippe Hurel’s collections are reinterpreted by four visionary women designers. Each brings her own perspective, sensitivity, and formal language.

Constance Guisset revisits the Arabel bookcase, exploring a delicate harmony between ergonomics and imagination. Her reinterpretation transforms function into poetry, where lines converse with material in a fluid and intuitive balance.
For this project, the Art Club embroidery enhances the piece’s graphic richness and artistic dimension.

Sophie Dries takes hold of the Inwood armchair, transforming it into a sculptural presence, both discreet and powerful. Playing with contrasts between structure and softness, restraint and expressiveness, her creation naturally integrates into the exhibition’s immersive scenography. Curtains in Azur Cotonneux, a sophisticated faux fur, envelop the piece, while the armchair itself is upholstered in Montparnos fabric, with its bold and textured character.

Inspired by the spirit of Bauhaus and minimalist art, Pauline Leprince reinterprets the Ray desk with a pared-down and rigorous approach. Lines, proportions, and rhythm compose a luminous and silent presence, almost contemplative, that stands out with precision against the dark corridor. Silk jacquard drapes in Eden Roc add a subtle and elegant note, highlighting the clarity and balance of this interpretation.

Finally, interior architect Victoria-Maria Geyer offers a sensitive reinterpretation of the Peggy Sue chair, exploring the relationship between emotion, comfort, and elegance. Revealed at the heart of a colorful capsule, her creation becomes a moment of softness and warmth, a luminous pause within the scenography. The setting in Lueurs de Montmartre velvet, with its vibrant reflections, dialogues with the chair upholstered in printed velvet jacquard Quartier Latin, evoking the creative and cultural effervescence so dear to MISIA.
Beyond the exhibition itself, Women’s Perspectives carries a committed dimension. At the conclusion of the event, the reimagined pieces will be presented and then auctioned in support of La Maison des Femmes, an association dedicated to supporting and caring for women in vulnerable situations or those who are victims of violence.
