Inaugurated in the new Galerie Pradier Jeauneau space at 32 rue de Verneuil in Paris, the « Le Commencement » exhibition combines MISIA's expertise with Sandra Benhamou's talent, in an intimate and subtle scenography revealing the creations of Mathieu Delacroix and the pictorial works of Anaïs Vindel.
The exhibition explores the idea of beginnings as a source of inspiration for the future, a vision dear to MISIA, which draws on the artistic and creative roots of the early 20th century to offer ever more contemporary fabrics. Passionate about « those who shape the times », Aurélien Jeauneau and Jérémy Pradier highlight the richness of the post-war generation of designers and contemporary creations in their gallery.
As an interior designer renowned for her aesthetic sensibility, Sandra Benhamou reinterprets spaces with a minimalist approach, where every detail counts. For this exhibition, she has created a setting that celebrates softness and simplicity, highlighting the pure lines and fluidity of the works and furniture. Carefully selected by the interior architect, gallery and designer, MISIA fabrics adorn the space, along with creations from the Ollie collection, designed by Mathieu Delacroix for Pradier-Jeauneau, adding a sensory and tactile dimension to the spaces and strengthening the connection between the brand and contemporary young creation.
Right from the entrance, the Levant Blanc voile, with its lightness and transparency, invites visitors to plunge into the dreamlike world of the exhibition, playing with natural light to magnify the works on display.
Monti ‘s refined jacquard, in ivory and natural shades, matches the elegant design of the two armchairs created by Mathieu Delacroix, evoking the softness of Mediterranean landscapes. With its slightly satin finish, it lends a timeless elegance to the seats, while its soft texture enhances their comfort.
On the designer's new modular sofa, Ciel d'Ailleurs stands out. This fabric combines a silky appearance with a suppleness that is ideal for furniture. The sandy tones are reminiscent of the polished concrete paving used in skate parks, reinforcing the connection between the furniture and the designer's inspiration, drawn from his childhood spent in these large urban spaces.
Dolce adds an extra touch of refinement. Its matt finish and velvety texture on the cushions play off the contrasts with the other materials in the gallery. Cushions in Rayon de Lune and Piazza di Spagna fabrics also punctuate the spaces, underlining the delicacy and precision of MISIA's work. Their contrasting textures and subtle patterns add visual dynamism, reinforcing the elegant shapes of Mathieu Delacroix's creations.
In a selection of ultra-chic monochrome fabrics, the « The Beginning » exhibition combines the interplay of textures: from supple wool and linen voile to luxurious cotton chenille, virgin wool bouclette or Suri alpaca wool fabric, clean-lined designer furniture and minimalist scenography reveal the preciousness of the MISIA collections.
This adventure continues soon with the exhibition « Audacity », which will showcase new creations by Axel Chay at the Pradier-Jeauneau gallery, of which Misia is proud to be a partner once again.
