From the imposing entrance hall to the immense outdoor space : architecture, works of art and fabrics come together to create a spectacular setting. The furniture, by internationally renowned designers, is covered in fabric by MISIA or paired with MISIA cushions and curtains. The quality and natural softness of velvet, wool and linen contrast wonderfully with the geometry and concrete of the building.
The armchairs and sofa are covered with the iconic Aime velvet in its new Egyptian Green color.
This cotton velvet is made in Italy, a subtle nod to the Céline Marcato’s heritage, and has an infinitely soft
and silky touch thanks to its particularly dense pile.
A little further in, the superbly embroidered Talisman Sacré fabric boasts large and daringly curved Art Deco-inspired motifs. Its umber colouring and modern style sit comfortably alongside the exquisite “Settimio” bronze and bamboo cabinet by the Campana brothers. Only three pieces were made, one of which belongs to the collection of the Museum
of Decorative Arts in Paris.
A huge window is magnificently dressed with the pure linen of Rue des Rosiers : it combines modern stripes with
a pretty stylized leaf motif. This sumptuous creation overlooks the breathtaking view of the sea, in perfect harmony
with the 'Three Drops' chandelier by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, an unforgettable and irreplaceable first acquisition
of Céline Marcato's collection.
The landscape of the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin Bay is stunning. The greatest artists of the 20th century were also captivated by its Mediterranean light and colors : Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Cocteau…
To appreciate this natural spectacle in absolute comfort, enormous seats are upholstered with a wide assortment of outdoor fabrics from the MISIA “Estivale” collection.
The Peninsula, Artistide, Gigi and Madame Rêve fabrics embody the art of combining contemporary elegance and technical performance: with bouclette, dupion or heathered finishes… the textures recall natural compositions of cotton, new-wool or linen. Their patterns reflect their assertive personality with remarkable creativity.
