MISIA, partner of Uchronia's exquisite surrealist hotel at Maison & Objet

Dive into the world of the weird and wonderful with this 200 m2 space, a tribute to surrealism embodied in a conceptual hotel. Blending art and functionality, the setting imagined by interior architecture and design studio Uchronia defies convention.

Between dreams and metamorphoses, the master bedroom transports visitors into a dream that takes over from reality. Furnished with exceptional Beauséjour embroidery in Arabesque colours, the fabric lends this space the Art Deco spirit so dear to the MISIA brand. Each of the small elements visible on the fabric is hand-embroidered and then cut, one after the other, using a strictly artisanal process, revealing a truly exquisite jewel of craftsmanship. The surrounding plume of cut hairs lends this embroidery an added depth and sophistication befitting of this luxurious hotel room.

The bed, perched on a sloping podium, defies gravity with a headboard composed of an assemblage of pillows made from the essential Aime cotton velvet.

Thanks to its very high pile density, this velvet is infinitely soft and silky. A special finish prevents it from marking, giving it that exceptional touch. With its thirty-three available colours, Aime has the largest colour range in the collection. Showcased here in an exceptional gradient, it features the Salamander, Orange, Burnt Orange, Copper and Terre de Sienne tones that are the hallmarks of the Uchronia colour range.

Continue your visit with the bathroom, where the reflections of a mirror create an echo of the bed and the silhouette of a character. The precious Beauséjour embroidery can be found here in its original terre d'ombre colour. In contrast, the Spa is like a luminous sanctuary, bathed in light, evoking soothing purity and offering a moment of absolute serenity. The large Clameur de Seine jacquard sets the scene with grandeur. Against a background of soft, natural tones, a coloured chenille thread offers its clean texture, enlivening this fabric with its soft, full hand and dense, supple drape.

The collaboration between the prestigious fabric editor MISIA and the interior design studio Uchronia is a perfect illustration of the alliance between traditional know-how and contemporary creativity. This synergy has given rise to an ephemeral hotel with a unique character, embodying a bold and refined vision of French art de vivre. Presented as part of the Maison & Objet event, this exceptional project reinvents the codes of hospitality by blending innovation and tradition, while offering an unprecedented aesthetic immersion. It's a dazzling demonstration of the importance of artistic collaboration in pushing back the boundaries of creation and enhancing the design experience.
