For the launch of its “Place des Vosges » collection, MISIA has worked in partnership with the Italian designer brand Paolo Castelli. A particularly successful encounter with a high-end aesthetic.

The story of a family’s passion for design, expertise and Italian craftsmanship began in 1880 in the workshop of a cabinet-maker, and the great-grandfather of Paolo Castelli... The pieces of furniture and light fittings created by the brand, recognized the world over, are made using fine and exquisite materials. They display a rare elegance with subtle and unique details.

The collaboration between Paolo Castelli x MISIA reveals a remarkable harmony between the magnificent fabrics and the singular designs. The “Ipanema” sofa and armchairs are accentuated by the exquisite and exceptionally silky “Aime” velvet, which itself is also made in Italy. The lightness and refinement of the “Parabolica” armchair are beautifully set-off by the incredibly soft “Epernon” velvet. The exquisite curves of the « Am » armchair gently embrace the lovely texture of “Au loin”. Finally, the delightful in & outdoor creation brings together the “Imane” seating and the “Péninsula” texture creating a hypnotic linearity between the lines of the fabric and the geometry of the seating.
